The “Black Beast” at Last Sunday’s Roosevelt Field Celebration
Although the official Vanderbilt Celebration at Roosevelt Field was cancelled, the Alco "Black Beast" and several impressive vintage cars generated excitement from over 100 people at the informal gathering. Some highlights:

My 1966 Shelby Mustang GT-350 H Hertz Rent-A-Racer meets its cousin, a 2007 Shelby Mustang GT-H convertible
Gram gives the Black Beast a thumbs up.
A brother/sister team recreate the 1909 Vanderbilt Cup Race.
Several people went for rides in the "Black Beast".
